Humans are politically split more extremely than ever before. Just merely associating with some political ideologies carries with it connotations and stigmas that have been drilled into us through years and years of persistent conflict. We are so used to far extremes that we do not keep our minds open for any hope of resolution. But people CAN change.
Nowadays we are quick to pounce ruthlessly on our opposition for their mere ideals, and while certain dangerous ideologies should indeed be confronted with intolerance, there is also a lot to be said for approaching the subject of disagreement from a place of human compassion. It is highly common these days for individuals to be reprimanded not for who they are, but who they were in the past. Even as someone shows signs of admittance they were on the wrong side of the fence on a given issue, it is all too common for the hate mob to descend and decry them all the same – as if they are truly beyond the pale, that they should have been better to begin with. This is ultimately a lose-lose situation for all parties concerned.
The benefit of the doubt seems to have almost gone extinct at this point, but we can do a lot simply by making it clear that life is indeed better on the other side, and that above all, they are welcome.

Absolutely sublime, an essential to any MIDI enthusiast. Vanilla compatible as well. Of course if you don't know, you should play BTSX using a source port of your choice: You can use ZDL to load up source ports and cleanly select multiple pk3s and WADs to run. The interface of ZDL is a bit clunky but, to play BTSX all you would really need to do is drag and drop the WAD to a sourceport exe to launch it. I recommend GZDoom for utility, Woof for authenticity, and DSDA if you're speedy boi.
